EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Organization: SIGNATURE NIGERIA 2027 (The Movement) Motto: Renewed Hope • Renewed Mandate • Renewed Nigeria

Nature & Purpose: Signature Nigeria 2027 is a national democratic advocacy and civic mobilization coalition. Its specific and primary purpose is to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the 2027 General Elections. The Movement is committed to promoting democratic leadership continuity, national unity, and participatory governance under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Key Objectives (Article 8):

  1. Core Mandate: Establish a paradigm shift in political consciousness and mobilization among Nigerian electorates, moving beyond rhetorical engagement to practical action.
  2. Pre-Election Mobilization: Conduct a massive effort targeting over 50 million signatories to instill robust electoral consciousness and actively project Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the preferred Presidential Candidate.
  3. Data and Documentation: Closely monitor and document all campaigns and manifestos to establish a verifiable database of electoral promises and commitments.
  4. Election Oversight: Implement comprehensive process oversight during the general elections, monitoring the supporter database, and aggressively ensuring maximum voter participation to exercise and safeguard their franchise.
  5. Post-Election Accountability: Transition to an accountability mandate focused on systematically tracking the actualization of documented promises and institutionalizing fulfilled commitments as sustainable democratic dividends.

Headquarters: The National Secretariat is based in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Governance Structure (Article 12): The Movement operates through a hierarchical structure comprising the National Convention (NC), the Board of Trustees (BoT), and the National Executive Council (NEC).

Financial Oversight (Articles 10, 17, & 18):

  1. The Board of Trustees (BoT) holds all assets in trust for The Movement.
  2. A Certified External Auditor (Article 17.3) must be appointed annually to audit accounts.
  3. Financial resources shall be exclusively applied towards the promotion of its aims and objectives (Article 10).
  4. Members of the BoT shall not receive remuneration, only reimbursement for legitimate expenses or appropriate honorarium (Article 18).

This citizen-driven mobilization policy aligns grassroots participation with national leadership renewal, setting realistic timelines, performance benchmarks, and measurable indicators across all 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

 

2. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE

To establish a national civic movement with a verifiable reach of 10–15 million active Nigerian participants especially the youthful population,, unified by the principles of leadership continuity, inclusive governance, and citizen empowerment, working towards the constitutional goal of over 15 million Signatories (Article 8.1.i).
