SIGNATURE NIGERIA 2027 is a socio-political, non-profit oriented, and non-governmental national democratic advocacy and civic mobilization coalition. Our specific and primary purpose is to sensitize and mobilize the electorate to support and work for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the 2027 General Elections, sustaining the positive legacies encapsulated in the “Renewed Hope Agenda.” Our National Secretariat is based in Abuja, Nigeria.

- Online and Usage Data: IP address, device type, browser information, website usage statistics (via cookies and analytics tools), and login information for the Signature Portal.

We collect information from you directly when you:
- Register as a member or signatory on the Signature Portal or at a local chapter office.
- Submit a question or query through our website or via direct contact with our Directorates.
- Complete a survey or participate in town hall discussions.
- Make a financial contribution or pay membership dues.
- Use our website (via automated means, such as cookies).
We may also collect information indirectly from coalition partners or professional groups with formalized agreements (Article 6.2).

We process your data for the following legitimate purposes:
- Mobilization and Sensitization: Conducting the massive effort targeting over 50 million signatories, projecting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the preferred candidate, and fostering electoral consciousness (Article 8.1.i).
- Communication and Narrative Control: Disseminating the official information of the Movement, responding to inquiries, and managing narratives through the Signature Media Command Centre (SMCC) (Article 12.3.j).
- Data and Documentation: Verifying membership, monitoring supporter data for assurance, and establishing a database of electoral promises (Article 8.1.iv, Article 8.2.i).
- Accountability Mandate: Transitioning to post-election tracking of policy implementation and actualization of documented promises (Article 8.3).
- Operational Management: Managing membership records, processing financial contributions, maintaining the digital infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with the constitution and internal bye-laws (Article 13).
- Process Oversight: Monitoring voter maximum participation to safeguard the franchise and the entire electoral process (Article 8.2).
- Security and Compliance: Preventing fraud, detecting unauthorized access, mitigating risks (political, security, misinformation) as outlined in the Action Plan, and responding to lawful requests.
6. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We may share your data with:
- Internal Organs: Appropriate National, Zonal, State, Local Government, and Ward Executive Committees, as well as necessary Directorates, for the execution of the Strategic Action Plan.
- Affiliated Organizations: Coalition partners, professional groups, trade unions, and students’ associations with formalized agreements (Article 6.2). We seek official recognition and partnership with the Presidential Campaign Organization of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) political party (Article 6.2).
- Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist in portal maintenance, data hosting, email distribution, payment processing, or operational analytics. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
- Auditors and Regulators: A Certified External Auditor (Article 17.3) appointed annually for auditing accounts and regulatory bodies to comply with Nigerian laws or court orders.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the objectives for which it was collected, and to fulfill our legal obligations. Retentions will typically cover the duration of the 2027 general election cycle and the completion of the post-election accountability mandate. Unless you exercise your right to erasure, data may be kept for a reasonable transition period to post-election monitoring.
11. Special Consideration
- Persons with Disabilities (PWDs): In line with Article 11.1.v, the Movement is non-discriminatory and ensures special consideration and care for PWDs, including ensuring the accessibility of privacy information and processes.
- Children and Minors: The Movement targets over 50 million signatories among the youthful population (Action Plan, Strategic Objective). Article 11.1.i sets the eligibility for membership at eighteen (18) years or above and as a registered voter. We do not intentionally collect data on individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly market or engage in socio-political mobilization of minors.
